Passion for Cruises recognises that solo travel can be daunting and lonely, which is why we have social hosts on board hosted cruises to help facilitate social interactions between our solo passengers.

Social hosts are responsible for organising various gatherings throughout the cruise, such as breakfast clubs, coffee mornings, pre-dinner drinks, and a meeting point for walking off the ship together to explore ashore.

The social hosts’ primary responsibility is to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere onboard, where our solo passengers can connect and form new friendships. They aim to ensure everyone feels included and welcomed, unless they choose to be alone.

If any issues arise, the social host can guide our solo passengers to the relevant department on the ship.
